The most effective temporary solutions for me have been to disable multi-core or run in windowed mode. Download and install the DirectX SDK from Create an eq2.ini (if it doesn't already exist) in the install directory and add this line to it: disable_auto_low_mem_mode 1 Lower Performance Profile below "High Quality" Windows will likely notice the crash and try to find a solution to no avail.ġ.)
